PowerRetrieve LITE

is a Windows based document archiving solution that provides unparalleled retrieval of documents based on their actual textual content as well as property field values (labels assigned to the documents).

Full textual content retrieval is achieved by automatically extracting and indexing text from office documents (MS Word, etc) and processing scanned paper documents through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and indexing the resultant text files.
Documents are indexed into repositories called ‘File Rooms’ and are stored in document folders within the file rooms.

In the LITE version of PowerRetrieve, all the software modules run on one PC, networking functionality is not available and there is an initial limit of 15,000 pages that can be indexed. Extensions to the number of documents that can be indexed may be optionally purchased and the software can be upgraded to the full-networked version for multi user access as and when required.

PowerRetrieve – Total Knowledge Management


is an intelligent document archive and retrieval system that links seamlessly to the digital Photocopier or TWAIN scanning devices providing fully automatic collection, indexing and filing of scanned documents.
 
Once collected PowerRetrieve will automatically OCR (Optical Character Recognition) the documents and auto-Index there entire contents at the speed of approx. 4000 A4 pages per minute and auto-file the documents into a familiar file room structure of filing cabinets, hanging files and folders.
 
PowerRetrieve will automatically index the content and the associated labels of most electronic file formats, including the ASCII text files created by the OCR process from TIFF images and most major Office formats such as Microsoft Office suite and many others.
 
PowerRetrieve provides a simple to use interface for searching the file room providing unparalleled results in terms of speed and accuracy with the unique capability of finding the right information even when the search query is inaccurate or miss spelt or if the scanned documents have OCR errors.
